Andrea joined the CLIF Pro Team in 2014 after spending a year in the Swiss army, and like everyone else in Switzerland, is an excellent marks(wo)man. The 2012 Jr. World Mountain bike Champion – or Weltmeister as they say over there – is also the winner of two U-23 World Cup races and is the team’s first European based athlete.
Andrea will be based in Switzerland and will be competing primarily on the European circuit with an eye on the prestigious Swiss and Italian Cup titles.

Why Mountain Biking:
I love to challenge myself and push the limit. You need to have so many different skills to be the best mountain biker. I like to spend time outside (especially in the Swiss mountains).
I will never ride again over mountain bike teeter-totter from the wrong side. When I was fourteen years old I had my worst crash ever. My front wheel came down from the teeter-totter and I crashed from very high directly on my face. I still have a scar on my face from that one.
