"When I train I seek out the trails less traveled. I enjoy going further, higher, and faster to find empowerment!"
Part of the CLIF Pro Team’s youth movement, Hannah Rae came to the squad in 2013 through the sport of XTERRA where she is a two-time amateur world champion (winning these titles – overall, not age group – at ages 16 and 17(!) respectively). She is also a former California state high school mountain bike champion and the current Collegiate national mountain bike champion in two disciplines.
Hannah Finchamp By The Numbers
First memory racing:
When I was nine years old I competed in my first triathlon national championship which took place in New Orleans. The day after the race Hurricane Katrina hit and my mom and I were stranded there for 6 days and finally were evacuated by armed guard. Needless to say, I’m an adventure junky.
On My Day Off:
On my day off you’ll find me camping out at the coffee shop throwing back cappuccinos and studying from four books at once. A double major and a professional athlete is probably the perfect recipe for a type A personality.
