From Ayr, Ontario, Canada, currently living in Surrey, British Columbia, Amelia started racing BMX at the age of 15. After sitting on the sidelines watching her brother compete for 6 years, she was encouraged to race herself and has been in love with the sport since then. Amelia has always participated in team sports, but she is drawn to BMX because she has much more control of the race outcome and can instantly recognize personal sacrifices. Her goal as a BMX athlete is to compete in the Olympic Games and to stand on the podium while the Canadian anthem plays. Amelia competes internationally with the Canadian National Team.
