Going Wild

We like films and we like the environment. Put ‘em together and you have a match made in heaven—the Wild and Scenic Film Festival—an event known for its blend of film, activism, truth and community. As a proud national partner, we hosted our very own festival here at Clif Bar a few months ago and now it’s time for the official kick-off of the 2010 season. Our friends over at TerraCycle started an eco-revolution, taking a range of non-recyclable waste materials and turning them into eco-friendly products. And so, we joined forces to help reduce the number of energy bar wrappers ending up in the landfill. They’ve created a whole slew of products made from our wrappers. Stylie (and scrumptious) totes,…

A Texas (Cycling) Star

Work with us here at Clif Bar and you may end up a champion. Well, that and do a whole lot of training. Cristin Walker, our Houston Field Marketing Crew Captain has always been a champion in our minds, but now she’s got the title and the trophy to prove it. Read on to hear her recent account of the road to the top… I pulled into my driveway last night after five weeks of training in LA. Turns out it paid off because I'm now the 2009 Elite Women's Sprint National Champion, the 500m National Champion AND the…
