Gary’s Adventure in the Dolomites Continues

Gary's back with more from his adventure in the Dolomites with his friend Gregg. Read on for a recap of days three and four. More climbs, more food, and a bit of rain. DAY THREE It’s another spectacular day in the Dolomites. We started on an amazing bike-only trail from Cavalese to the Passo Valles, then went on to the Passo Pellegrino. A quick panini in Moena and then up the Val di Fassa and over the Passo Selle to Selva Val Gardena. We ran into some rain today on the descent into town but it wasn't too cold.…

A White-Road Adventure in the Dolomites

Gary’s off in the Dolomites, riding his bike with a few good friends. Delicious food, amazing views and a few hearty climbs (and descents!) makes for another awesome white-road adventure. He sent in this story on the Down the River Cleanup in Clackamas River, Oregon; read on to learn what happens when 300 people descend upon Clackamas River to deal with too much trash… Oh yes...…

My Summer Vacation at Trans Rockies

Colleen, Colorado Field Marketing Rep, is a crazy cat. She loves to run...and run...and run. For the third year in a row, she decided to spend an entire vacation running. August in Colorado means a few things; the Broncos are in training camp, the Rockies are STILL playing, and it’s time for Trans Rockies Run! And for my third year in a row I had more than a blast! What and where is this “Trans Rockies” I speak of? It’s a 2-person team, 6-day stage trail race from Buena Vista, Colorado to Beaver Creek, Colorado, and covers 113 miles with…

RAGBRAI—The Final Legs

Aliy and her crew lost contact with the interwebs while finishing up their journey from the Missouri River to the Mississippi. Read on for their story from the roads of Iowa. Days 3-7 of RAGBRAI, a bit delayed. Day 3: Everyday is a Spandex Party Day If you aren’t a fan of spandex, maybe RGBRAI isn’t for you. Lucky for us, we LOVE spandex and all the fun it brings out…or keeps in. Whether you’re in red, green, black, or yellow, on RAGBRAI, less is more and tube socks are NOT allowed. The all-day bicycle fest plus the Iowa heat…
