Team CLIF Bar Weekend Results Round Up

Wow, what a weekend for Team CLIF.  Four of us desk jockeys who work to keep our athletes fueled traveled to the Sierras for the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run.  We got to chat with our athletes and some of ultra running's best known names at a dinner co-hosted by our friends at Montrail the night before.  We also attempted to make the smokiest camp fire ever and enjoyed some time sleeping outside. Thanks to Our Bay Area Fun Riders!

It was especially great seeing so many families out riding on a beautiful Bay Area day. Keep an eye out for other CLIF BAR events across the country by checking our Events Calendar.

The boys at Garmin-Slipstream entered the stage with their two top riders, Bradley Wiggins and Christian Vande Velde, sitting in the 6th and 8th spots respectively on General Classification. Late in the today’s stage, with an early group of breakaway riders set to finish well up the road from the GC contenders, Astana was happy to set a hard tempo up much of the 10.6km climb.…
