The City of London Race took place on Saturday, September 10, and Clif Bar was there and in on all the action. Here with a recap is our very own Craig Woodman. Prior to this event I had never worked at a mountain bike event, however, I can safely say I hope to get to work at plenty more! The Bontrager Twentyfour12 is a unique event; it’s an endurance mountain bike race around a course of approximately 10 miles, entirely off road. As the name suggests there are multiple races taking place at the same time on the same course; a 24hour race, a 12-hour one starting at midday and another 12-hour one at midnight – the Torchbearer12. The Clif Bar UK field marketing crew was out in force for the second Brighton Marathon on Sunday 10th April. Clif Bar had played its part since the start, attending training seminars since November. We've also supported weekly training runs in providing CLIF Bars and SHOT Bloks for all, and the Expo day before saw us sampling our wares. And for the first time in the UK, members of the Clif Pace Team were in attendance, to help secure those PBs.
