- Bikes in the Warehouse
I sent this email last week:
Well folks:
It's time once again to revisit the issue of bikes on the warehouse bike rack! Yes! But before you glaze over, and chuck this e-mail, please read it through because this year, there is a new twist.
If you are storing your bike on the rack in the warehouse, and haven't ridden it in awhile, or maybe even forgotten that you left it out there (horrors!), please take it home before January 13th. Yes, that would be Friday the 13th! Food for thought, if these bikes were cars on the street, you would have been towed by now.
Any stored bikes out there, will be donated to Trips for Kids. Hate to take a drastic stand, but I've sent out e-mails like this each year, and no one takes action. There is no extra room on the rack for those folks who do commute to work by bike. So, commuters, this message is not for you.
Here are a few bikes that have been out there awhile, are they yours?
• K2 Razorback
• Kona
• Holdsworth
• De Rosa
• Diamondback Topanga
• Torrelli
• Trek
Head 'em up, and move 'em out. Thanks!
MK
P.S. If you have stored a bike or frame, or other paraphernalia in the bike shop, please check in with Paul or Eric W., and they can help you load it into your car.
Funny how threatening to donate bikes turns out to be a good motivator!
