- Northern California, CA - Amgen Tour of California (through Sunday, May 23) - The largest cycling event in America, the 2010 Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race, presented by AEG, that challenges the world’s top professional cycling teams to compete along a demanding course from May 16-23.

- Santa Monica, CA - Shecky’s Girls Night Out - Get your girlfriends together and get ready to indulge in an evening full of shopping, delicious cocktails, fabulous beauty treatments and much more. - Sacramento, CA - Capitol BikeFest - The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) and its outreach partners, the regional Transportation Management Associations (TMAs), the Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA) and the California Department of General Services will host the annual Capitol BikeFest at the State Capitol (West side). This annual event promotes bicycling and other clean air transportation and celebrates May is Bike Month.

- Nationwide - Bike to Work Day - The League of American Bicyclists is promoting Bike-to-Work Week 2010 from May 17-21 and Bike-to-Work Day on Friday, May 21.
- Seattle, WA - Bike to Work Day - Throughout Puget Sound, riders can stop by Commute Stations to pick up free schwag, snacks, city and county maps, bicycle commuting information and to have bikes checked for free by our fantastic bike shop station sponsors.
Saturday, May 22
- San Mateo, CA - Maker Faire (through Sunday, May 23) - Maker Faire is a two-day, family-friendly event that celebrates the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset. It's for creative, resourceful people of all ages and backgrounds who like to tinker and love to make things. So much to see, you will need two days to see it all!
- Blanco, TX - Real Ale Ride - Nothing says Texas like BBQ and Real Ale Beer. Join us for our 4th Annual Real Ale Ride on May 22nd in Blanco, TX. Each route features challenging hills and beautiful vistas on scenic back roads in the heart of the Texas hill country. This year’s ride will provide more shade, more food stations, an optional VIP area and transportation to and from the ride. In appreciation for the town’s hospitality a contribution will be made to the new Blanco Public Library construction fund.
- Chicago, IL - Chicago Green Festival (through Sunday, May 23) - That's Right, CLIF Bar is proud to support all cyclists who ride to the Chicago Green Festival! Check out our booth inside for some tasty samples!
