- CLIF Lands in Kona, Hawaii: A Photo Tour
Every year, CLIF Bar heads out to Kona, Hawaii for the Ironman World Championship to support our Team CLIF Bar athletes for the week. If you're a triathlon follower, then you most likely know that 2010 champ Chris McCormack hopes to bring home another win here in Hawaii.
While we wish you could all be out here with us, we know that's not possible. So here's a few updates from the scene here in Kona.
Every year, CLIF rents a house right on the coast. Yes, it's amazing and the view is to die for. But the real reason we spot up here is so we can set up a booth right on the course route and offer a bevy of race nutrition samples of CLIF products throughout race week. Also, we host some of our Team CLIF athletes at the house, like Chris signing autographs or Linsey Corbin, who swung by with some of her awesome Montana Ale. And of course, the CLIF band rocks the house.
We hope you stay tuned in to the race on Saturday, but for now, here's some pictures to help set the scene.
