Well, that took a little longer than expected. Sorry for the delay. There was one rogue piece of audio I wanted to make sure was in this podcast.

The final stage of the Amgen Tour of California was a flat 10-lap circuit race in Redondo Beach over 76.5 miles.

Before the race, Dylan spoke with former cycling pro Kevin Livingston, who's now with Medalist Sports. He talks about his role as competition director and putting on the event.

Later, Dylan watches the race with Dave and Jim from Felt Bicycles from the VIP tent.

Then, he speaks with Ben Turner, road manager for TIAA-CREF, about Best Young Rider jersey winner Tom Peterson.

Some say the race was won during Stage 3's individual time trial. GC winner Floyd Landis won that day with a solid 26-second lead over the 2nd place (Dave Zabriskie, also 2nd in the GC). Mark Lucas discusses Floyd's unique time trial position, which he witnessed in Phonak's windtunnel testing.

How did Stage 7 go down? Experience the final 3 miles as the race announcers call the finish, followed by a few of the jersey presentations:

• Clif Bar Green Sprinter's Jersey, Olaf Pollack (T-Mobile)
