- Congratulations to our 2012 Team CLIF Bar Ironman World Championship Athletes!
It's been a week of anticipation here at the Ironman World Championship, starting with Chris McCormack and Linsey Corbin signing autographs at the Team CLIF house. But today was the big day, and we wanted to extend a huge congrats to our Team CLIF athletes, including Chris, Linsey, Tim O'Donnell and Meredith Kessler. The amount of preparation and energy these guys put into training in unreal, and everyone out here deserves a massive amount of respect.
We watched from the starting gun, hosting a lounge for the locals to swing by and watch the race live. We had food, drinks and plenty of CLIF products to keep everyone going strong. And we all needed it. Kona is hot and humid, and as we made our way down to several viewing spots along the course, you can definitely feel the intense conditions.
But when it was all said and done, Linsey Corbin rocked an amazing 8th place finish.
And Tim O'Donnell scored an 8th place finish on the men's side. Nice work, guys!
