Happy Earth Month
Even though Earth Month is wrapping up, these are a few simple things that are still relevant. And don't believe the hype—the little things really do matter. All you've got to do is start here....

  1. Keep recycling and reduce plastic use if possible—still one of the things we can each do to have an enormous collective impact.

  2. Change those lightbulbs—cfl’s are still better—the mercury comes in very tiny amounts, our energy use comes in very large amounts.

  3. Think about your spending patterns—buy less for just for 2 weeks to start—see what happens—remember The Story of Stuff? Consumption has big impacts.

  4. Eat more organic, seasonal, vegetarian, local or any variation on the theme if you are able&#!51;decrease pesticide use, support organic farmers and try eating lower on the food chain.

  5. Change your commute—use your car less, take the 2 mile challenge or find other ways to decrease your CO2 impact.

We like getting our heart rates up, taking a big breath of fresh air, savoring delicious food. But we also love telling stories and here's where we type 'em up. (BTW, it works both ways; leave a comment—please and thank you.)
