- McCormack gets 2nd at Ironman Hawai’i
It's likely that many of you are well aware that Team CLIF Bar triathlete Chris McCormack finished 2nd at Ironman Hawai'i on Saturday October 21st. It was a very exciting triathlon. Chris started the run portion ten minutes behind the leader and ended up taking back nearly nine minutes during the 26.2-mile run. The huge effort made by Chris kept spectators riveted to the race.
While Chris would have surely preferred the win, 2nd place is obviously a huge accomplishment. Though it wouldn’t surprise me to see Chris on the top step of the podium next year, in the big picture the best part about working with Chris is that he’s a colorful and classy act who Team CLIF is proud to be associated with.
Read the race report and check out Chris in action.
Enjoy some well-deserved rest back home in Australia Chris!
