Mr. Jones Goes to Washington
Business formal attire is about as far away as you can get from the everyday outerwear that's usually worn by Team CLIF BAR pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones when he goes to work. In fact, when a friend informed him that he’d been invited to Washington to speak on behalf of the winter sports industry about climate change, Jeremy had to call his brother to borrow a suit and tie.

This Hill adventure (of the Capitol variety) was a far cry from the hills that make up Jeremy’s normal “office”; and certainly, advocating as a climate change witness wasn’t exactly what he had in mind when he became a professional snowboarder over 15 years ago. With his achievements on the world’s biggest and most remote mountains already sealed in the history books (9-time Snowboarder Big Mountain Rider of the Year), Jeremy’s commitment to furthering the fight against climate change with his foundation, Protect Our Winters, could very well be his proudest legacy.

It’s the ongoing adventure of Jeremy’s life that is testament to the balance that he finds on-and-off the mountain to protect the places where we play, for himself and for the future generations. And it’s just one reason why we at CLIF BAR are proud to support Jeremy and his adventures to go deeper, further and higher in everything he puts his mind to.

We’re psyched to present “Mr. Jones Goes to Washington,” and hope you’ll join us for the ride!

For a closer look at what Jeremy has been up to off of Capitol Hill, check out the latest trailer from Teton Gravity Research, "FURTHER."
