After much planning, packing, vaccination-taking and anxiety (perhaps just on my part), Bryan, Bentley and I are headed to India tonight! We're going to build houses with Habitat for Humanity in Pondicherry as part of CLIF's International 2080 volunteer program.

I'm sure Bryan and Bentley's heads are spinning as they tie up loose ends in the office on their last day; I know I've been terribly busy trying to rush around and finish everything before I leave. I guess I need to remember that even if I don't finish, it will all be here when I get back.

I'm certainly excited but I also have a sense of calm. I've heard from so many people about their travels to India and I suppose I'm trying to let it all sink in. I'll do my best to share what I'm feeling and seeing. I hope to have an open mind and open heart while navigating this adventure. 

That being said, I'll make sure to get Bryan and Bentley in the internet café and on the keyboard to share with you too.
