¡Viva la Argentina!
As much as I love working here, there’s a wee part of me that wishes I could take a temporary leave of absence. You see, there’s this Clif Bar GreenNotes Protect the Places We Play contest going on and the grand prize is a trip to Argentina. Clif Bar employees aren’t allowed to enter. We figured it wouldn’t be fair (or legal) if we stormed the contest with our own entries.

Over the last few months, GreenNotes has been out and about in Yosemite, Boston and Austin working with volunteers determined to clear trails and pick up litter. They braved the sun, wind and rain (yes, Mother Nature managed to throw some sort of monkey wrench into each event), to show their dedication to the places they play. To top it off, volunteers were treated for their good deeds with some fine tunes from GreenNotes-sponsored artists.

If you weren’t able to make it out to one of these events and show your lovin’ for a place close to your heart, no te preocupes (that’s Spanish for don’t worry).

Drop us a note about a place you want to protect and get entered for a chance to win a volunteer adventure trip for two to Argentina. Courtesy of Play It Forward, the trip will be filled with loads of kayaking, hiking, and exploring.

Best of all, there will be tons of hands-on conservation work, letting you protect the place you play in real-time.

We like getting our heart rates up, taking a big breath of fresh air, savoring delicious food. But we also love telling stories and here's where we type 'em up. (BTW, it works both ways; leave a comment—please and thank you.)
