Waffle Wednesday
Waffles wednesday!Yesterday was gourmet bread and cheese, the day before that was sugar cookies, dried cranberries and yogurt-covered raisins. Ever since Thanksgiving, every break room table-top has been strewn with treats—not necessarily a bad thing, just a bit overwhelming.

Crackers, gingerbread cookies, quick breads, chocolate cakes and the occasional piece of fruit. I shouldn’t complain as I’m doing my fair share of contributing to the plethora of goodies by baking virtually every night.

As if we haven’t had enough food around here, SR hosted the first annual Waffle Wednesday this morning. These guys went all out. Check out the spread—walnuts, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, (real) maple syrup, powdered sugar, nutella.


I suggested that we make this shindig more frequent than what was proposed—every third Wednesday of every fourth December.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the chefs...
