Jack

Pace Team Leader

Jack, a retired police officer who currently works for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, has been pacing with Clif for the past six years. Jack started running marathons relatively late in life, running his first official marathon at age 38. Jack was a 3 time all state sprinter and jumper in high school but always enjoyed distance running and found himself drawn to the camaraderie distance runners shared. Jack wants to help everyone to experience the joy of running that he has for the past 42 or so years.

When not pacing, Jack coaches youth baseball and shuttles his son between baseball and lacrosse. Jack's oldest daughter, Stephanie, is getting married this May. His twin daughters, Courtney and Allie, are juniors in college and his son Cullen is a sophomore in high school. Occasionally, Jack even finds time to spend a few minutes with his very supportive wife Jean.
