This just in from Minnaar's recent win! We at CLIF are psyched to see the season kicking off with such sweet victory.

Santa Cruz Syndicate's Greg Minnaar (Team CLIF Bar) wins the UCI World Cup Downhill season opener with an exhilarating run that had the hill alive with the roar of thousands of fans including the oneLife crew and the Minnaarmy!  Steve Peat came in 15^th and Josh Bryceland 21^st on this improved, pedaling course in Greg’s hometown of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Han’s “No Way” Rey Rides India - VIDEO

Hans Rey (Team CLIF Bar), Richie Schley, and Joscha Forstreuter travelled to

Riding in Nepal on a trail at four thousand meters (13,000 ft) elevation and looking over at a mountain that is eight thousand meters (26,000 ft) tall is a surreal experience. The fact that the trail below your bike has never seen tires on it makes it even more surreal.

Anthill Films traveled to Nepal in the fall of 2011 to shoot a segment for Strength in Numbers – premiering April 2012. We went to Nepal with Rene Wildhaber and Andrew Shandro (Team CLIF Bar)

This January in particular has been more like JUNE-uary in some parts of the world. Team CLIF Bar skier Jenn Berg has no problem finding a good time in the mountains no matter what the conditions.  Below Jenn gives us a glimpse of what she has been up to and reminds us all that life truly is about perspective. When life serves up snow, we ride POW; and when the sun shines (and the snow is tough to find), there's nothing like a mountain bike ride in the middle of winter.
