E.A.T to the rescue!On Tuesday November 14th at 7pm, TEAM CLIF BAR sponsored climber Timmy O’Neill will bring his Environmental Action Tour (E.A.T.) to San Francisco’s Cowell Theater.

The evening’s guests include Kipchoge Spencer of XtraCycle and TEAM CLIF BAR sponsored skier Alison Gannet who’ll play a leading role in the CLIF Bar Save Our Snow (S.O.S) Tour set to launch this January.

McCormack gets 2nd at Ironman Hawai’i

Macca (w/ Le Sensation on left)It’s likely that many of you are well aware that Team CLIF Bar triathlete Chris McCormack finished 2nd at Ironman Hawai’i on Saturday October 21st.  It was a very exciting triathlon.

Chris started the run portion ten minutes behind the leader and ended up taking back nearly nine minutes during the 26.2-mile run. The huge effort made by Chris kept spectators riveted to the race.

While Chris would have surely preferred the win, 2nd place is obviously a huge accomplishment. Though

Cyclo-cross-ing in Gloucester

Mark and SonGloucester, Mass: Mark McCormack and Jesse Anthony of the Clif Bar Pro Cyclo-Cross team made their 2006 U.S. Grand Prix of Cyclo-Cross season debut last weekend at the Gloucester Grand Prix, Mark placing seventh in Saturday’s race, following it up with a fine third place on Sunday. Natural Energy Tour--Home Stretch!

skiing for wrestling...Boston is enduring its first week of class for the many, many colleges that reside here and we’ve been at the center of the action.
