Garmin’s Millar Takes Tour’s 12th Stage!

In what had been an exceedingly difficult Tour de France so far for the Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda team, David Millar staked his claim as one of the more tactically-astute riders in the pro peloton today, winning the 12th and final Alps stage out of a five-rider breakaway group that was out front for most of the day.

Stage 12 followed two incredibly hard days in the mountains in which the GC contenders battled it out over several brutal passes, and today the peloton was in no mood to

Clif Bar donates 75 Garmin- Cervélo posters to NICA

Last fall we worked with illustrator Steve Thomas (www.stevethomasart.com) to create a series of retro cycling prints featuring Team CLIF Bar athletes to be displayed at our Interbike booth.  The prints were so successful that we produced a limited-edition run of each, including a 2011 Paris-Roubaix commemorative poster featuring Garmin-Cervélo rider (and race winner) Johan Van Summeren.  We recently handed over 75 of these posters to the National Interscholastic Cycling Association

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE!  Nash Takes the Win in Tabor

Using a hilly course and a boisterous Czech crowd to her advantage, Luna Pro Team rider Katerina Nash claimed her second career UCI World Cup cyclocross victory over the weekend, racing only a few kilometers from her original hometown.  Nash, who now lives and trains around Truckee, CA, put her extensive backcountry ski experience to use each lap, as her superior leg strength allowed her to attack repeatedly on a steep stair section of the course in Tabor.  Katerina was able to
