Ian Sharman Sets New World Record

Team CLIF runner Ian Sharman broke his own world record by more than two minutes this past weekend when he finished the Napa Valley Marathon in 2:40:53 - dressed as Elvis.

That's right, the King is alive and well and finishing top ten in marathons.  How does he keep the pompadour looking so good after all those 6 minute miles?  Ian is considering hanging up the Elvis costume after nabbing the world record for the third time.  Keep an eye on your favorite

Geoff Roes Takes on the Iditarod Trail Invitational

There are not a whole lot of running events during the winter months. For obvious reasons. But if you are going to take on a winter-timed foot race why not go for it? Team Clif Athletes Named Ultrarunners of the Year

This time of year, it seems everyone has a Best Of list or reader’s poll to celebrate the previous year’s achievements.   UltraRunning Magazine announced the results of their poll, and Team CLIF runners nabbed both the men and women’s top places with Dave Mackey and Ellie Greenwood being named North American ultra runners of the year.

Dave had a solid year, claiming 5 victories including the Miwok 100K, the country’s largest 100K race.

Ellie had a true breakout year –
