Ellie Greenwood Scores Back to Back Wins at Chuckanut 50K

This past Saturday in Bellingham, WA the 20th Anniversary edition of the Chuckanut 50K was run in cold conditions with a mix of light snow and some rain.  Team Montrail and Team Clif runner Ellie Greenwood showed good early season form to take the win and to take another 3 minutes or so off her course record, set in last year’s victory.

Serow!

Team Clif skier Miles Clark recently returned from a trip to Japan and has been sharing all kinds of great videos and images with us.  The latest video is our favorite because Miles takes a step back from the epic pow to teach us a bit about the Japanese Serow, a sort of goat sort of antelope native to the mountainous woodlands of Japan's Honshu province.  Did you know the Serow is a solitary animal, occasionally gathering in couples?  Did you know the Serow marks its territory by

Geoff Roes Takes on the Iditarod Trail Invitational

There are not a whole lot of running events during the winter months. For obvious reasons. But if you are going to take on a winter-timed foot race why not go for it? That’s what Team Clif Bar Athlete Geoff Roes is doing. Geoff is currently running the Iditarod Trail Invitational. A 350 mile race across Alaska on foot. The race follows the famous Iditarod Trail. Participants are required to be self-sufficient, which means pulling a ‘sledge’ with all your gear and supplies. This year’s

Miles Clark Finds Some Powder, Finally

Team Clif skier, Lake Tahoe resident, Squaw Valley Poster Boy and Unofficial Networks contributor found a stash of really, really deep powder.  Wait, before you all jump on highway 80 and rush Tahoe, this terrain is a little farther afield.  Like many other fans of winter, this year has forced Miles to seek out places where the season is more business as usual.  In this case, Hakuba Cortina in Japan provided some epic conditions that should keep Miles smiling even if his home mountain
