World’s Toughest Mudder Report

If you have any brain power left after a long holiday season, you may recall our post about Team Clif athlete Eric Johnson preparing for the World’s Toughest Mudder event. 

Eric’s fingers have finally thawed enough for him to write a recap and you can hear all the details at his blog.  In his post, Eric details all of the obstacles featured on the massive course.   Each lap was 10 miles and the top finisher completed 6 laps in 24 hours (you knew it was a 24 hour event, right).

Paul Robinson’s European Vacation

TCB Rider Forrest Shearer - My Wilderness

Brent Allen Tackles Molokai to Oahu Challenge

The annual Molokai2Oahu Race is regarded as the world championship of stand up paddleboard racing - 32 miles of open ocean water starting at the north end of the Island of Molokai and finishing on the South Shore of Oahu.  The Molokai Channel is considered one of the roughest ocean channels in the world, with high winds, huge swells, and the occasional 30-foot wave.  The locals know it as the Ka’iwi Channel, which translates to “channel of bones,” as this deep and treacherous stretch

Marathon Junkie Takes the Win in All 50 States

If you read our blog (hi mom!) you may be familiar with Chuck Engle.  If not, here are some quick stats on the man they call The Marathon Junkie:

-          44 marathons in 2011 (so far)

-          33 wins in 2011

-          44 career course records
