The Sabbatical Chronicles: Customer Service in the Wild West

Dylan’s second installment of The Sabattical Chronicles; he sends his best from Idaho...

Still sabbaticalling something fierce.

Currently nursing a rock-skipping wrist injury—apparently went out a little too hard at Priest Lake, the unofficial skipping-rock capital of the world.

There were so many perfect rocks I just couldn’t stop myself.

In a perfect world I’d be writing in to report about a glorious victory at the Boise Twilight Criterium or a dashing win at the Idaho

Passport to Spain—Zabriskie and Frischkorn on Camera

Dave contemplates video games while waiting for cars to pass...travel, police, and initial arrival in Girona behind us, I awoke my first morning to the booming sound of bells. Thank goodness there were actually bells this time, and not just the ones I sometimes hear when I don't get enough sleep. Or, maybe they can…

Let’s try “awesomeinatory” or “awesomeillitrackletron.”

Now I’m sitting around the house trying to heal up for the next mad-cap adventure. And here’s what I’m dealing with:

  • My old dog is, apparently,

Comparison Test—TCB Salsa Podio vs. Generic Aluminum Walker

On Saturday morning I had the misfortune of ending my race season before it really got started.

I ran out of talent on a slippery descent and, presto, I turned my right femur into more than one piece.

So I’m out of action for some time and, needless to say, it’s a bit of a bummer.

But in an effort to turn my vat of sour lemons into a charming river of delicious, refreshing lemonade I’ve spent a little time today doing a comparison review that I’m sure you’ll all find quite
