- HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE! Nash Takes the Win in Tabor
-
Using a hilly course and a boisterous Czech crowd to her advantage, Luna Pro Team rider Katerina Nash claimed her second career UCI World Cup cyclocross victory over the weekend, racing only a few kilometers from her original hometown. Nash, who now lives and trains around Truckee, CA, put her extensive backcountry ski experience to use each lap, as her superior leg strength allowed her to attack repeatedly on a steep stair section of the course in Tabor. Katerina was able to finally drop Dutch rider Daphny Van Den Brand on the last climb up the stairs, providing her with a large enough gap to hang on and take the win by a mere 6 seconds.

The victory propelled Katerina into 1st place in the World Cup standings! Congrats Katerina!!
