We created the GreenNotes program to talk to music fans and bands about the importance of reducing their environmental footprint. Our band partners make more sustainable choices in their touring operations from biodiesel to organic cotton, and many things between. We also talk to music fans about making simple changes in their lives to reduce their CO2 emissions.
We've proudly partnered with the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) to host Ski Green™, a program making it possible for people to offset the climate impact of their visits to select western resorts.
Last winter, skiers bought nearly 6,000 BEF Mini Green-Tags, each representing 100-kilowatt hours of wind power. In addition, Clif Bar purchased enough wind power at eight ski resorts to offset the climate impact of their ski lift operation.
