Eric Porter

MTB - Freeride

Born in Louisville, Eric now lives in Midway, Utah with his wife and son, Milo. He's a mountain man of the highest order, negotiating the gnar on a bike when the ridges and valleys are covered with roots, rocks and dirt, and a splitboard when covered in pow. He's proud to make his living riding his mountain bike, and is excited by the opportunity to raise his son in the "mountain lifestyle."

Not long ago Eric appeared on the covers of Decline Magazine and Bike Magazine in back-to-back months and more recently he was featured along with fellow Team CLIF Bar riders Kirt Voreis and Jeff Lenosky on Fuel TV's Built to Shred. Eric recalls his earliest memory of riding when he discovered a hiking trail by his house and simply rode it on his bike. He says, "I didn't know what mountain biking was yet, but I loved it and went back every day to ride more trail!"
