Jenn Berg is all about creating memorable adventures in the mountains...and judging from her list of accomplishments and the sheer number of days she spends each year in the outdoors, she's got a solid stack of memories in the bank.

When we asked Jenn a couple of questions to help you get to know her a bit, here is what she had to say.

What do you love:" I love my dog, husband, family, friends, kind souls, unexpected adventure, mixing color, taking photos, watching sunrises, listening to waves crash on the beach, and watching snowflakes fall from the sky."
What do people want to know about you? " When I slide on my skis, I discover my inner peace, my happy place. I have found a deep passion for remote adventure skiing that requires heli's, skins or snowmobiles to access terrain. Primarily I am focused on the ski decent but I also enjoy the unique stories that develop and evolve from an epic ski day of a dawn mission or a long ski tour. When the snow melts, I love following it down to South America or just hanging in Utah mountain biking and motoing. I spend a lot of time on the computer doing Search Engine Marketing for Backcountry.com, and playing with photos / cutting videos. Overall, I am a mellow girl who loves nature, good coffee and positive vibes."

Earliest Memory of Skiing: My earliest memory of skiing comes from the weekend trips my family and I would do up to Tahoe. I remember trying to follow my big brother Kevin around the mountains and keeping up with him on the slopes. These are the special days that developed my passion for snow, mountains and going fast!

Most significant ski experience : After freshly turning 20, I was asked by Shane McConkey if I wanted to compete at the World Extreme Skiing Championships in Alaska. Shane being one of my hero’s I would say YES to anything he asked! So there I went, my second comp ever, first time in Alaska and first time ever in a helicopter. The whole experience of hanging out and heli-skiing with my heros was magical to me. I quietly absorbed the whole experience and was lucky enough to return to AK for many years to come. But, nothing compared to that first visit... truly amazing!
