Neal Gorman

100 mile specialist Neal Gorman currently holds the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning record for finishing the Western States 100, Vermont 100, Leadville Trail 100 and Wasatch Front 100 in the fastest cumulative time ever during an 11-week period in the summer of 2010. Neal ran four 100 mile mountain trail ultramarathons in 2011, finishing 1st at the Old Dominion 100 and Grindstone 100, 2nd at the Massanutten Mountain Trail 100 and 3rd at the Leadville Trail 100. In 2012 Neal has set his sights on running the two most competitive 100 mile races in the world: the Western States 100 in California in June and the Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, France in August.

Neal and his better half, Gaby, recently moved from Washington D.C. to ultra running hotbed Charlottesville, Virginia. When not running, Neal attends to his insurance brokerage business, and designs and builds his own furniture as a hobby. Watch your back, Norm Abrams.
