Create an Outdoor Bucket List

The whole summer lies ahead, full of long sunny hours and kids. And without school to keep them busy and active, they have TONS of energy.
We’ve got a great way to get them up and running around: a summer outdoor bucket list! Sit down with your kids and ask them what kind of adventures they want to have this summer. Where do they want to go? What to they want to see, or make, or learn? Who do they want to hang out with–or meet? (You might be surprised at some of their answers!)
After they’ve written up their bucket list, post it somewhere the family can see every day. And don’t forget to check things off, one adventure at a time.
For the ultimate bucket list, check out Leah and her family from Kid Bucket List in Australia. They have some amazing bucket list items and travel around the world to check them off their list.
An outdoor bucket list comes in handy when you’re planning trips, but it’s also great for run-of-the-mill days when there’s nothing special on the calendar. Instead of sitting around doing the same-old same-old, kids can check their list and see what they can knock off in a day.
It’s pretty fun to see all those adventures, accomplishments, and really great memories adding up!
