"On a deeper, personal level I think the attitude of perseverance, and a willingness to hurt yourself in training comes from the training that I had in the military."
Former U.S. Naval officer and proud ambassador for Team Red White and Blue, Tim O’Donnell, known by many as “T.O,” is considered one of the top triathletes on the non-drafting circuit today. He’s secured the elusive sub-8-hour IRONMAN, a runner-up finish at the 2015 IRONMAN World Championship, as well as more than 20 professional career wins across multiple distances. This 2009 and 2010 USA Triathlon Triathlete of the Year is happy to share his competitive spotlight with none other than his wife, three-time IRONMAN world champion Mirinda Carfrae.
Tim O'Donnell By The Numbers
If I Wasn’t a Pro Triathlete I’d Be:
My wife Rinny's race sherpa
My family of course, but Larry Bird is up there in the sporting category. He’s all work ethic and hustle.
