How does CLIF calculate its carbon footprint?

CLIF completes an annual inventory of our greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol*. All operational and supply chain data is collected at the beginning of the inventory process, reviewed internally, and calculated into GHG emissions. CLIF then undergoes a verification audit by an independent third-party to provide assurance that CLIF GHG emissions inventory is in conformance with applicable standards.

CLIF is working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and has a science-based target to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. CLIF has publicly reported its emissions and progress toward this target through annual disclosure to CDP.
