Together, We Can Move the World

At Clif Bar & Company, supporting the community has been baked into our business for nearly 30 years. In fact, it’s one of the Five Aspirations we use as our bottom lines. From dedicating 1% of net sales to nonprofit organizations ($60 million to date) to surpassing 168 thousand hours of community service, giving back is rooted in our DNA.

Through our Second Responder Fund, which helps communities after natural disasters such as COVID-19, we’re excited to partner with five CLIF athletes to support organizations that help open doors for more people to get outside, get moving, or help Protect the Places We Play®.

Venus Williams

Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program

Tennis teaches kids essential life skills, sportsmanship, self-discipline, social and emotional skills, and how to lead healthier lives. That’s why Venus is proud to support HJTEP, an organization that brings tennis to youth from high-risk, low-income, inner-city neighborhoods.

Tommy Caldwell

Utah Diné Bikéyah and Women of Bears Ears

Diné Bikéyah means “people’s sacred lands” in the Navajo language. Utah Diné Bikéyah and Women of Bears Ears work toward the healing of people and the Earth by supporting indigenous communities in protecting their culturally significant ancestral lands.

KAI LIGHTNER

Climbing for Change

Climbing for Change connects underserved communities with individuals and organizations that seek to increase minority participation in rock climbing and the outdoor adventure industry. From athletes to industry leaders, they aim to make the rock-climbing community a more inclusive environment and help pave the way for the next generation of Kai Lightners.

DANIEL ROMANCHUK

National Park Service: Accessibility

As someone who deeply appreciates the power and beauty of nature, Daniel is passionate about making these wonders more accessible to everyone. That’s why he lends his support to The National Park Service, an organization that works tirelessly to preserve the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System today, and for future generations.

CLIF 2nd Responder Fund

In 2019, Clif Bar & Company established the Second Responder Fund, with 100% of net profits from the sales of our Sierra Trail Mix CLIF BAR® earmarked toward helping communities rebuild after natural disasters and assisting organizations like our partners below as they make the outdoors and sport more accessible to all.
