How would you describe what you do to someone who knows nothing about Clif Bar or your role?

I work at Clif Bar. No, it’s not a bar that serves alcohol (although we like our parties). We make organic energy bars, and I work on the team that is kind of like the gatekeepers to our delicious products. When you walk into, say an REI or your local mom-and-pop sports retail shop, or you participate in a 5K or a half-marathon and see Clif Bar on the shelf or on the course, we are the peeps who ensure the product is there when you need it.

What do you love most about working at Clif Bar?

What I love most about working at Clif Bar are the people and our company culture. This place is truly magical and special. It’s a privilege and an honor to be a part of this community and organization.

What are your interests and passions outside of work?

I am a wife and a mother, so outside of work, I love working out, trying new vegan recipes, conquering Spartan races with my husband, getting outside, and watching my two-year-old experience the world. It is so fun and comical to see.

What is one of your most memorable food experiences?

For our anniversary, we went up to Calistoga for the weekend. Our last day up there was an eating and drinking celebration. We started off with green smoothies and avocado toast in the morning at Sam’s Social Club, followed by getting our caffeine fix at the Culinary Institute. We then lounged at our hotel’s mineral pool and spa until our wine tasting session at the Clif Family Tasting Room — if you haven’t been, please go. After the tasting, we went across the street to Farmstead and ordered all the vegetarian sides we could fit on our table. We were laughing that the food just kept on coming … and we just kept on eating. Beautiful scenery + phenomenal food + the love of my life = pure bliss.

What has been or will be your greatest adventure?

Motherhood, hands down, has been my greatest adventure. Every day is always something new and something to be learned. My son, Pharaoh, is my greatest gift, and he motivates me to be a better me.
