How would you describe what you do to someone who knows nothing about Clif Bar or your role?
You could say that I am lucky enough to lead a team that is one of the first and last people to touch the Clif Bars. I get to interact with a group of amazing people all day long ensuring quality ingredients are brought into our facility, storing them for upcoming production runs, verifying accurate counts on items as well as delivering the raw ingredients to our production team which does their magic and they give them back as our amazing and yummy Clif Bars for us to ship out to our customers.
What do you love most about working at Clif Bar?
I absolutely love our family like atmosphere. The people here are amazing to work with!!
What are your interests and passions outside of work?
I am a full-time single father of an amazing 11-year-old girl that I spend as much time as possible doing things like playing video games, playing golf, fishing and camping. If my daughter is off with friends I tend to play as much golf as possible.
What is one of your most memorable food experiences?
By far my most memorable food experience is from Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. When I was in the Navy, we stopped in Bahrain for some shore leave and while walking the streets I found a vendor selling what I found out was Shawarma. It is a slow roasted lamb with veggies placed in a pita wrap. It was amazing and I could not get enough of them to eat while we were there. Oddly enough Wikipedia says that they are one of the world’s most popular street foods. They did not have them where I grew up. LOL

What has been or will be your greatest adventure?
My greatest adventure has been watching my daughter grow and bloom into the amazing young lady that she is. A close second was the thrill of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute on for fun, and wow was it ever a thrill.
What is your United States Armed Forces Background?
I served in the United States Navy from 1990-1996. I was an Electronic Technician and joined the V.B.S.S team on my ship while in the Persian Gulf War.
