Milford, New Zealand
A former ITU Junior Duathlon and Triathlon champion, New Zealand pro triathlete Terenzo Bozzone burst onto the non-drafting triathlon scene in 2006 by smashing the Wildflower half-iron distance course record. Since then, he’s amassed an IRONMAN 70.3 world title and 37 international triathlon titles. A proud father and husband, Bozzone trains hard and races even harder—but makes sure to relish every moment with his family that he can.
Growing up my parents were big role models in my life and they encouraged my brother and I to have a good moral compass and good work ethic. And I’d also say my wife—when I struggle to get out the door to train I look at how she’s working on her company —on top of being a new mother and running a household.
